BBQ Meatballs

This recipe comes straight from my grandma's cookbook. If you know my grandma, then you know its good! Whether served as a hearty appetizer, a game-day snack, or a flavorful main dish, they’re a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Quick to make and impossible to resist, these meatballs will be the first to disappear at any gathering!

Ingredients:

- 3 lbs ground beef

- 1 cup breadcrumbs

- 2 eggs

- 1/2 cup chopped onion

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 teapsoon salt

- 1 teaspoon pepper

- 2 teaspoons chili powder

Sauce 

- 2 cups ketchup

- 1 cu[ brown sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke or to taste

- 1/4 cup chopped onion

Directions:

Mix all ingredients and shape into meatballs. Place on wax paper covered cookie sheet and freeze. 

When ready to cook, mix up sauce - stirring to dissolve sugar. Put frozen meatballs in a pan and cover with sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. 

Tips & Tricks

This makes more than one pan but make sure to make fresh sauce each time. 

Cover your pan in tin foil for easy clean up!
